Roger had his double-barrel blinder light. We just wandered the bike path (dodging late returning commuters in the dark) and various paths to the open, clear top. Great views over the lights of Canberra and the developing fog. Painter trig was flying a Brumbies flag. David has a great knowledge of the skies and pointed out many of the stars and constellations. Many thanks David and here's to another next month. Summary Distance: 3.8km Climb: 120m. Time: 7.00 - 8.05pm (1hr 5 mins), with 15mins of lights and star gazing at the top. Walk Participants 4 walkers - David D (leader), Roger E, Rodney S, me. Back to Walks Index This page last updated 3Sep22 |
